WVU MBA Students Partner with Fairmont to Address Abandoned Buildings

Three MBA students from West Virginia University recently worked with Main Street Fairmont and the Fairmont Community Development Partnership to develop a market for dilapidated and abandoned buildings, seeking revenue opportunities through deconstruction and reconstruction leading to affordable and market-rate housing. The students worked with the BAD Buildings inventory developed by Fairmont volunteers, designing a business plan to supplement the larger community revitalization plan. Find the full story here.
